Memory 11
Would she regenerate, I wonder...?
Images*

*- Starts from "A vampire's regenerative power" and ends on page 14 "I don't think that at all"

Things of note
  • This chapter is technically from Kaname and Ai's point of view, but of course Ren would have her own thoughts and feelings on the discussion.
  • Mentions of Death (of Yuuki)

Summary
  • This takes place immediately after one of Ren's previous memories.
  • Kaname makes note of vampires' regenerative powers.
  • He asks if he "pulls" that woman (Yuuki) out from inside of him whether or not she will regenerate too.
  • Ai asks if he wants to test it and Ren questions what she's trying to say.
  • Kaname says that he won't try to do it after all, noting that Yuuki would be angry at him for it.
  • Ai tells him that she doesn't think that the idea is stupid.
  • She and Ren grip hands very tightly

Commentary
  • More memories of Kaname!
  • We learn that by giving her life to turn Kaname human, Yuuki now "lives" inside of him. This is reference to her soul, not her physical body living inside of him.
  • Still, I... guess she could regenerate? I don't believe that traces of her body are actually in there. It's a bit of a confusing concept.
  • Hino pls.
  • Kaname is a little weird...

Effects
  • Ren is now aware of how vampires might even be able to regenerate in death, though it's a little confusing.
  • She's still kind of grieving over Yuuki and Zero's transfer.
  • They might come back? She's still sad tho.
  • Worries about Kaname...
