[It hurt but not in the worst way. It was how she imagined it would be like. There was a bit of a pleasure/pain to it that made her hastily cover her mouth so that he wouldn’t completely hear the embarrassing noise she had just made.

She wished he did have fangs. She wished that even without them that he wasn’t making her heart hammer in her chest or her stomach flip with want. She wished she could feel his teeth scraping over her skin in more places.

She wanted to sink her fangs into him. She wanted him to touch her until the fever pitch went away. She also didn’t want to needlessly complicate things by asking for such a thing, even as the idea settled low in her stomach like a rock and made her squirm a bit in his arms.]

It was a result of the push back and forth between them as she dared him and he kept rising to the occasion. She was safe with him, but he might not be safe with her if she gave in and bit him.]
